Art Director and founder

Aman is the Chief Executive Officer of Sycomore, guiding the organisation's strategic direction, partnerships, and long-term growth. With over 15 years of experience in the global technology and communications sector, including leadership roles within major multinational corporations, Aman brings a strong foundation in digital innovation, operational strategy, and cross-sector collaboration.

His career has been defined by leading high-impact initiatives, delivering complex technology platforms at scale, and driving organisational change in dynamic environments. At Sycomore, he applies this expertise to build a purpose-driven platform that bridges art, science, and environmental action — aligning creative expression with measurable real-world outcomes.

Aman is deeply committed to positioning Sycomore as a credible, global force for impact — one that attracts artists, scientists, and institutions who believe in the power of collaboration to solve critical planetary challenges.

Kimon has over 20 years development software engineering experience. He has been with Sycomore from the start and is our guru for keeping the back end at optimum performance.

DANIEL PAULY

NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Daniel is a professor of fisheries and principal investigator of the Sea Around Us initiative at the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries of the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Daniel is well known for his work in studying human impacts on global fish populations, documented in many books and over 1000 scientific contributions. Daniel will help steer Sycomore's leadership team over the next 12 months.

Helber is a Physicist and an experienced professional from the Energy industry who has been working on major infrastructure projects since 2007. In the last few years, he has been engaged in projects with budgets in excess of US$20b per annum in South America. He is also engaged with solutions designed for solar farms in and end-of-life, which aims to increase asset life between 10 and 15 years. Helber has also been developing new methodologies and procedures for planning analysis, benchmarking and cost estimates.

Nadine Senior

Marketing Manager

Nadine is Sycomore's Marketing Manager and a core member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing and executing Sycomore's multi-platform communications strategy. With a strong creative background as a Sycomore artist herself, she brings a unique understanding of the intersection between visual storytelling, environmental messaging, and digital engagement.

In her role, Nadine leads the development and delivery of Sycomore's brand voice across all social media channels, curating compelling campaigns that highlight the value of artist contributions, the urgency of the scientific challenges we're tackling, and the innovative model that sets Sycomore apart. She also works closely with our partner organisations and internal team to amplify success stories, artist-scientist collaborations, and campaign launches to a growing global audience.

As Sycomore continues to scale, Nadine's marketing leadership plays a vital role in building public trust, raising awareness, and helping drive both art sales and social impact. Her dual insight — as both artist and strategist — strengthens our ability to communicate with authenticity and vision.

Dr. Bethan Lang is one of Sycomore's Senior Marine scientist. She is a marine biologist from the UK, who completed her PhD a stone's throw from the Great Barrier Reef in Townsville, Australia. Here, Bethan studied the impacts of climate change on the infamous coral-feeding crown-of-thorns starfish, while also assisting with research projects on the ecology of epaulette sharks and other fishes.

Bethan has also worked on kelp and seagrass restoration and seahorse conservation projects in Sydney, as well as coral reef conservation projects in Indonesia, Madagascar and Honduras. Bethan is an avid diver, sailor, and general ocean lover.

Dr Bethan Lang

Senior Scientist

Jhon holds a Bachelor's degree in Government and International Relations from Universidad Externado de Colombia and is currently in the final stage of his Master's in Public Policy at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He leads on Sycomore's Forest category work streams and his research focuses on deforestation in the Amazon and explores how the European Union's policies could serve as a model for addressing this critical issue. With a strong background in government affairs and public relations, Jhon has worked as a relations specialist, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including the private sector, public institutions, embassies, multilateral organizations, and civil society.

Jhon Tibocha

Senior scientist

Dr Jorgelina Asmus is one of Sycomore's senior scientist in the fast Fashion category. With a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences and professor of Ecology and Conservation Biology at the National University of Rosario, Argentina.

Her work focuses on wetland ecology and biodiversity conservation, with an emphasis on analysing ecological responses to environmental change.

She is part of the Sycomore – Fast Fashion group, where she brings a critical ecological perspective on the environmental impacts of the fashion industry and promotes sustainable solutions grounded in science and conservation.

Dr Jorgelina Asmus

Chiara Rolland is shaping Sycomore's CSR strategy and works directly with partner brands to ensure sustainability initiatives are both rigorous and meaningful.

Her CSR leadership brings hands-on experience partnering with global organisations to align product communication, supply-chain transparency, and stakeholder engagement with real environmental outcomes.

She specialises in turning complex sustainability challenges — from traceability and certifications to impact reporting — into narratives and strategies that stand up to scrutiny and resonate with customers, partners, and institutions.

Informed by extensive international experience, her approach is global in outlook, collaborative by design, and firmly rooted in delivering real-world outcomes. At Sycomore, sustainability is not a marketing layer. It is embedded into how brands create value, communicate impact, and contribute meaningfully to environmental solutions.
